Though a good cup of coffee offers one of life’s simple pleasures, it contains a complex history.
Coffee grows in the equatorial belt. It takes a coffee tree three to five years to produce a harvest. From there it gets picked, crushed, dried, lifted, hoisted, roasted, and ground. Every step along the way affects it’s flavor.
It’s a minor miracle that we have the amazing coffee we do, given the journey it must take and all of the things that could go wrong along the way.
